Which programing language?

Was wir bisher vergessen haben ist Flash/Flex/ActionScript, wird glaube ich langsam ein ernstzunehmender Konkurrent für andere Programmiersprachen, zumindest in manchen Bereichen...

hmhmhm mir eigentlich nur im web bereich bekannt. Es gibt sehr viele Sprachen da draussen, Fortran oder Kobalt (glaub so schrieb es sich) wurden auch nicht angekratzt.

damn, for my study i have to lern java and i hat it. the tutor said, that it is THE language, because its multiplattform.
But i dont like it.

oki, which language (exept .net or maybe suxorlight) is bound to one platform to be written/executed?
especially the webmachinery is (at least clientside) platform independent.
