Bei mir kommt's aber auch hin, das Datum könnte stimmen, ich habe Anfang Juli 2008 mit meiner UrbanTerror-Karriere angefangen...

Interessant wären Stories aus den ersten Tagen von dswp... Wie schnell wurde der Server bekannt? Kannten sich die Admins schon vorher oder kam das alles erst über dswp?

ich hab was über q3 gelesen irgendwo wie immer.
ein beitrag war über urban terror und das das jetzt frei ist.
dann weitergelesen dun dinge erfahren wie "mapdownload funktioniert per separatem http serwer" und "geht sogar unter windows mobile"
dann mal runtergeladen, entzipt, gestartet. testweise sozusagen.

die vielen admins kamen eigentlich erst mit dem b3, vorher gabs nur rcon.

Ich hab übrigens den Wheres the admins-Thread gefunden und durchgelesen, quasi eine Zeitreise in die dswp-Anfänge... nach und nach melden sich da alle mit "Hallo, ich bin <insert name>, ich spiel hier ganz schön oft und würde auch gern Admin werden"

Besides the expensive life there Luxembourg has a very nice country side, there are lots of forests and nice little villages with old castle between the mountains... I like it.

This photo was taken in the very beginning, IRC came later... and of course I minimized Firefox and Skype for this photo In the end me and my two colleagues played a lot of Quakelive, because it was just out for Mac (both have MacBooks) and we were almost done with our project. I never played Quake before, so it was exciting and new for me

Were you at Spa for the F1 Grand prix ?

The F1 Grand Prix was this weekend, I was there at the end of July for "Total 24 Hours of Spa" FIA GT. I also saw a F3 race and a Lamborghini Cup. I'm not a big fan of motor sports, but it was interesting (and very loud) to see this place.
