he, atm im a bit bound to what they call 'RL'.
to be short: i move to a new flat.

in many cases were questions for a wiki, i know from ana that theres several integrations with bigger web apps like phpbb.
so if anyone wants install and manage that: np lets test it.

i think main work is to bring in the existing stuffs, hundreds of articles need to be transfered in a meaningfull way.

any suggestions?

I didn't find any official wiki for phpbb, and few ugly wiki integration, need phpBB expert
In fact it depends if we really need a full wiki, or we just want to regroup resources and articles. I think we already have the collaborative part of a wiki thanks to forums, so maybe few custom pages, like a classification menu, a page where you could see content of the page followed by the related thread and a multiple users per article feature would do the trick...

ye, mine idea in the beginning was to let some "mark" in posts db records that make it possible to filter them.
shown in a separate template, first post should be in fat fancy design, the rest just like comments
(like in php manual or maybe youtoube etc)

that way we wouldnt lose an information and it would be far less work then manually transferring good posts all the time...

in case the wiki will be implemented by somebody somehow, and converting stuff will not work, i will rewrite the stuff i already have written, np.

(the better the info is stored and the nicer it is organized, the easier i can look it up myself. that is where my motivation to redo all the stuff comes from.)

hm avoiding double work and double data warehousing is a worty goal in IT i would say (just mine opinion...)

i agree, rewrite is just in the case you guys cant manage the filter stuff. but i do not have doubts in you, i said this just in case. hihi.
