But at least in this case, there is nothing to discuss,
as it is his 3rd time being caught cheating, not
his 2nd. :-)

Hm, I wasn't able to find the official rules for moderators and admin, at least nothing stating the second-chance-rule, but I found AimMe's post post27399.html#p27399:

[...] your ban expires in month as every other cheater. [...] After it you'll have second chance. And second is your last.

I always try to permban after the second time caught with demo-proofed cheating.

But at least in this case, there is nothing to discuss, as it is his 3rd time being caught cheating, not his 2nd.

There we are, thinking different but doing the same.

Yeah, i permban second time. I don't know if there is rule about it, but we never had person here whoc would stop cheating after 2 bans (i used to permban after 3rd before) so i see no reason why not to permban them 2nd time.

cheater gets one second chance, then permban ... that's how we handled it when I joined (I think I remember some discussions if the 2nd chance was justified or just wasted but in the end all wanted to believe that cheaters can change ;))
