After i Decided to reinstall the "OK" installation which was running UrT (because i couldnt run new mumble on that), i tried Debian squeeze (6.0).. unfortunately when trying to build the module, there were few errors about struct having no member "blabla" and etc. so i get it - this wasnt the way.. So what not i decided to run Archlinux. Yeah i know i wont be able to run catalyst, so i went OSS way! Well in big fights its little bit choppy but otherwise fine running 75 fps on 1024x768.. Yeah wont be what i am used to but anyway whatever...
(I am thinking of buying new card.. but i would need to probably buy a new power supply too (mine is 450W), but idk..)

If you don't stack HDDs and plan to use just one graphics card you should be fine with 450W
Also I can't imagine that ArchLinux doesn't provide fglrx (closed radeon) drivers

Ahh the background story is -> I own X1950 Pro and the last catalyst to support this card is 10.3 Win and 9.3 Linux..
So i cant use closed drivers, only on really old systems..

Für mich persönlich steht Windows fürs Versklaven der Menschheit. Sie versuchen dir für jeden Scheiß Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen, dabei gibt es aber meistens eine freie Alternative.

Ich habe vier PCs zuhause für alle habe ich eine Lizenz für Win (was für eine Verschwendung...) . *Kopfschütteln*
