WTF is going on in Spain?

When i returned from nightshift on tuesday morning, i became aware of the twitter tag #spanishrevolution and #Acampadasol
That those protests of thousands of people are all over spain, that they gatherd on a huge place in Madrid, which was later cleaned by riotpolice.

There were videos on youtube from hard to identify places and tons of fotos.
I switched through german television, al jazeera, cnn and found... nothing.
So i tried to find information on other sources like reuters or the huge 'oldskool' printed press websites and found... nothing.
Instead, i found ppl writing this would just be a twitter hoax.
At least its pushed by anonops, and there are quite alot images with guy fawkes =)
When i saw this picture i thought for the blink of an eye that it must be the most ueberhoax ever, Anonymous hacked el pais, did a realy good job in photoshop and used a software leaked from HBGary to spawn thousands of social media bots.
But back to topic, today it's wednesday and there is still hardly any coverage by the mass of the media.
I know that Washington Post and ORF (austria) wrote some small lines, and yesterday the german TAZ published a short article. It's not so much more this morning i think.

Today, the major press in germany had spain in theire headlines, tv too.
I'm not sure what this will lead to, but right now, i've some bad premonition.

Although these black-and-white faces give me creeps, it is interesting (not to mention overly optimistic) how the military did not shoot at them. I always thought how all soldiers are bloodthirsty regardless of the outcome, else they would not be soldiers. And I'm afraid I might be right.
