This arbitrary kicking for "camping" is the main reason I don't play on Wurst these days. It's just überlame to kick campers, they are part of UrT, if you don't like it you should play Quake. I have never seen a camper ruin a game, it's always fun to go after them even if he kills you 2-3 times first. And if you get caught by a camper more than twice you're doing it wrong anyway.

I can kill noob with SR-8 on Ryadh with AK but no a normal player with SR-8. And if he is sligthly better than normal then its hard.

Ryadh is special case: or take sr8 and camp, or be very good rusher and die tons of time, while you make space for sr8s. Nobody will kick you for camp there.

But still consider that most campers are noobs. When i play Ryadh with sr8, it is so easy to kill enemies that i feel like playing Teletubies-shooting game. Show, shoot, hide. Show, shoot, hide... Then i have biggest possible hit rate, over 75% of my bullets hit. That's how it is untill there is enemy that reaches you....

with that statement you've proofed that you dont know anything about urt. the game is made for rushing not for sitting around and waiting until someone runs into your crosshair.
The problem is that wurst is one of the worst servers what camping concerns, due to the fact that its a 45 slot server, so there is almost too less space to push forward and because there are always many beginners around who just dont know how to play or they are coming from games like counterstrike.

I guess you were born as an überpro, but some of us weren't. And not all of us have a mouse that allows you to aim right both in close-combat AND at long-distance campers (not to mention how I often can't even see them, but I use extremely low res [which reminds me I should increase the window size now that I have a new computer]).

even my flatmate can use lr+kev+helm to get to the enemies spawn, decide to take a different route from time to time and if he knows the map (that's like 2 or 3 now) he might even circle the map to get that bitch of a camper. (And if one is kicking all campers he cries coz they are so easy to kill ;))

You guys should really hear your self-right attitude and maybe try to play with no powers for a week or two? It sure helps understanding opinions ...

First you are free to play UrT as you like, there is no rule about the style.
Second if you ever played UrT in competition, you would see that nobody rushes. At least it's not the main way of playing, by far... And those players have thousands of cumulated hours of playing, so they know what UrT is.

I agree with San, kicks for "camping" are excessive. I never kick anyone for camping and I'm still able to enjoy wurst server for hours, what do I do wrong ?

what do you mean in competition? if you're playing against others, where one side can win, its always a competition

Well yes, in other modes than TDM (bomb,ts) there is no such a thing as camping, or at least with players<20....

As one said, cuz of the more slots, campy style ruins the game..
