It happens only on 1 particular website. browsing other websites and photos in same FF => all is fine.

You probably had an interrupted/corrupted download of that file, and the corrupted file remained in the cache and was used over and over to speed-up the loading, as the date of file on the server was not newer than the date of the cached file, so your computer thought it was fine to use the cached version.
