@Ana: you either have a virus, or the error might be in all FF versions (or at least last N versions), it could be a strange bug in your network drivers (try downloading the image on a computer where it works, and copy it to your computer via USB flash, then open in FF via File->Open), or something I can't think of right now.
Honestly, I forgot by now, so I'll check it up from begining.SteveMcqueen wrote:natirips wrote:Me? I used translate.google.com so I understood most of it.SteveMcqueen wrote:i'd love to know what you thought you understood of what i have written.

this response does not answer my question, you dont state what you claim you understood. ("most" simply does not do.)
impression might be: you understood nothing at all.
whatever, hf.
virus would have been detected by several people already, so that is by far the most unlikely option.
interleaving [through the way it it works, sending security bits every-so-often, can not capture all errors].
exceptions can happen in rare cases with an even number of bits being changed still returns the same security bit. but due to the network quality nowadays this is also most certainly not problem, as this would not happen with several images. especially when you get very similar errors in all the pictures.[in the thread was already mentioned it happened with several image files.]
[for other security techniques in charge and their weaknesses that could be questioned] we'd have to ask zorn [because he knows the most by far on about these things].
with it not being caused by a virus, not happening because of network errors, this leaves the pc's on which the picture is hosted or where it was formatted.
but maybe the cam was broken, or something directly related to the cam. [also unlikely as the pics would way more distorted then.]
(now lets ask somebody with a better idea about it all.[than what was already mentioned].)
