You know what's the biggest charm in it? It takes time, so you can go to sleep at night with that "I've just put the computer to a good use, I can now rest easy" feeling, without the feeling of "but I could've put this time to a better use if I were not to sleep and would use the computer instead".

As for the Minesweeper, brute force (persistance) is the only way I can solve the largest board, I always fail if I try doing it all by thinking. I step on the mine, and I start it again, and again, and again... There's no other method for me to solve it.

I don't know how it is with the biggest minesweeper, but for me on the middle one I always get to the point where it is impossible to calculate the last mine, it's almost always a 50/50 and you have to guess
