Freshen up

Start a new fresh phpBB in /new and create everything seperately to the current forum. Start fresh (only code, not database) and move it to the root once it is done.
Be sure that the old links still work on the new forum (please !).

Change “toys” to “wiki”
“Help” in footer will be linked to phpBB help in the beginning, but we should proceed to building up our own help inside the wiki, focusing less on the forum itself and more on Urban Terror, B3 and related problems (i.e.: “B3 doesn't recognize me anymore, what did I do wrong?”)

Use forum for news
Create a seperate module to display news on start page (display a short introduction box (may be hardcoded) for not registered users as well) fetching the news from a forum called “news”
Make news module the home page and remove the flash intro
News about new maps added to the server, new team members, new plugins/modules/…
Put the module inside the new, fresh phpBB

Keep it dynamic (cached for max. 1 minute) as it does not bother the idle server much. In case it does, cache it for a longer time.
Background needs to be changed and the overall look needs to be fine-tuned (refer to XTJ7 for further information)
Add the IRC population (data is available in DB)

Redesign the fucker!
Use pictures, maybe create iconized versions similar to the signature, just smaller to list users with icons for where they are (needs mockup to prove concept to be workable!)
Rewrite the whole module to a boxed concept (with filtering feature) fitting to the design illustrated at http://www.xtj7.de/download/dswp2_whoswhere.jpg

Caching to reduce use of resources

Definitly integrate it again and blend it into the layout
Requires someone to put it on a seperate page where it is stylable and viewable (if it doesn't exist anymore, if you did or it still exists, replace this with the link, the new fresh phpBB! not the current!)

modify b3 to deal less punishment for tk based on this “flag”

Latest news
Current stats (number of users online, in irc, in forurm, on tdm, bomb, jump, ts)

Move/copy the whole thing into a seperate phpBB module (the new fresh phpBB! not the current!)
- new design and elements bring back the idea of an dynamic XML on the mumble machine since we can't get ZeroC Ice on the web machine (too old)

Use tabs to make it look like xlrstats from different servers and the profile are one (just a matter of templates!)
Create an additional activity graph that is multi-colored and shows all 4 servers combined.
Modify phpBB database and profile settings page so that users can select whether they want the graph to be displayed in public or not (default: private)
