hey guys, this is great, i just got some table from xlr stats called between forums header and footer, including all css etc.

the rest of the playerstats lay in different tables with global primary keys.
so when im boring i go and biuld some nice listings here...

ej and XTJ7 has allready started to write us some nice interesting outputs.

hope he succeeds soon, so we have that machine fully integrated in page style, beeing able to run filters and comparisons that the original xlr cant throw out.
(like a kill/death ratio, connected to the weather, daytime or ...)

I extended the XLR interface just a little, so now the rank is being calculated in realtime in everyones profiles there. Just search for your name and then you can see your rank even if your not in the Top20 (like me! ).

Then im already thinking about how to link the forum profiles to the XLR profiles. With that we could do quite interesting things, like group ranks not based on posts, but based on rounds played for example.
Any ideas?

Well, I guess there we just have to extend the B3 a bit. So that users can enter !authforum XTJ7 for example and then in the database this relationship will be saved. Other ways like doing the authing in the forum might result in some jerks stealing Top20 players nicks to look good. Then we are in trouble cause we need to prove it's not them. Authing this inside the actual game seems the only way for a proper solution and shouldn't actually be that hard to do.

I will look into the B3 in the next days and then write a plugin that allows us to do the authing this way. Then we could theoretically even do things like show the player his private messages from the forum inside the game. It's so nice to be a programmer, limitless options

hm, maybe the users could be asked to give it in the form

username could be assumed as playername, allthough there will be sure issues with special caracters ^^

then use the phpbb registration scripts to sign him up with random key, sent in activation mail.
so were sure and we have a playerid for the username.
aditionally, its much more save against them spambots then any captcha or math test

an aditional column with player id in phpbb users could show the xlr content relative easy in playerprofile.
