I've been looking at several games to make maps for my beloved Deus Ex, I thought Urban Terror would be cool.

I was wandering if anyone has any recommendations for cool smaller urban terror maps that I could possibly make?

hm, were missing bigger maps with smaller visibility stages
(in order to take some load from the client)
best would be with small or uni-colored textures

i dont know mapping (and i think i wont learn it)
but i could draw something on paper...

Is this just for fun or there is still some activity on Deus Ex DM? For example Unreal Tournament 99 which share many things with Deus Ex, the max number of players is about 400 in all modes.

And yes Deus Ex is still my favorite PC game. I played The Nameless Mod few months ago and it was great.

Very good to hear you like Deus Ex and the nameless mod. The Deus Ex community is probably around 200 players in total maybe, however we expect this to increase with the release of Deus Ex Human Revolution, we are a small bunch but very commited.

I'd just like to say that Steve's train map is fantastic as I saw the original CS version only recently!

Prague is quite small I might take a look at that.

My vote goes to Elgin, think that's a pretty cool map. Not too big. Just leave out the dogs tho, they're annoying as hell.
