Ah, btw.: I saw you cycled through the players
until you spectated the right guy. Instead, you
can use "!find <player-substring>", which will
give you his slot number, then you can use
(on console) "/follow <slot number>".

EDIT: Don't forget to hit "FIRE" or "USE" (Ctrl-key)
once before you execute /follow ..., because otherwise
the weapon will be invisible.

Definitely not. Seen it. Felt it. :-} And used it
myself 3 times -- out of 100 times /trying/ to
activate it. It's all about timing.
