ms office is btw "the original", they are right in many cases in this video.
for the rest (including their oho-so nice 'squirrel serwer', exchange, numberous os tries etc) they are NOT the original but a cheap fake.

however, get it that 90% of all office installs are ms and theres a reason.
the arguments that they bring there (support) are valid, allthough ms support has allways been what u can call "a bad example"

open source code is useful in infrastructure like the air to breath in real life.
In real life, an office is not for free, so it should make sense to use apps as products.
Including support, guarantees and so on.
And that they think, open source it their native enemy: bullshit, and they know it isnt.
Its called dirty PR or Provocation.

ms itself dont give in but seriously:
they do use TCP/IP.
its ths crappy open source, thats right Mister Gates!
they should be forbidden just to use open source, such as mentioned.
plus DNS, SMTP, SIP, everything. Na, Mister Gates? Not so much left, right?
Force them to use a LapLink Cable till they stop to swear on what they rely on (like the air to breath).

I have to admit I was not around when the first people fought about office software market shares, but it's hard to believe that M$ started something from scratch, you sure they didn't just buy something at first? ;)

And ... the biggest con is that it is not 100% compatible with M$ Office ... is it vice versa? aka with the ISO standard (which at least a few years ago was open office format, not M$)

All statements purely rely on people having used M$ Office for years or that the other party is using M$ Office ... gotta hate monopolists but what do you wanna do ...

About that one teacher with the worse grades for OOo usage ... my German teacher did it the other way around "I'm using linux, I'm using OOo, if you want me to read something use my free tool or look what formatting you use"

OpenOffice is uncompatible and the formatting is distorted. (wtf? In 2008 Sun and Openoffice.org has reverse engineered the .doc and after that Mcsoft has released specification)
Who will fix it? (WTF have you seen how much it takes microsoft to repair a bug)
