I stole the above table from
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megabyte on 2010-10-22 18:23:37 CET (it's probably CET).
Capital 'B' usually denotes byte, non-capiral 'b' usually denotes bit.
But many people use the old convention where k (kilo) is 1024, M (mega) is 1024*1024, G is 1024*1024*1024, etc.
