I have just realized my worst score on Kingdom.
Usually I manage rather well enough on this map but there was a cheater
(aimbot) in the opposite team.

Every time I wonder why some guys manage to cheat.
I have two explanations:

1 - The game is difficult for each beginner and to reach the top of the classification, it can be easier to use "shortcuts".
(I remeber myself when I trained long and long hours on German Test Server and had horrible scores last year !!!)
It is a question of pride.

2 - Certain player swear only by Counter strike and they please to come to rot Urban terror because there is no software protection against cheating.

And now I would be very pleased to know your own opinion about that.
Perhaps have you allready cheated by the past.

I learnt to use HK 69 on this server. Very funny and a lot of blood everywhere on walls !!!

I don't understand people who cheat, where's the satisfaction in that? There's no sense of achievement and I'm not sure if it's particularly any fun either.

hehe I cheated once on a LAN, after 6 hours of Counter Strike I couldn't stand it anymore (they refused to play UrT T_T (should have been in the times of 2.X)) that OGC is way to complicated, took me more then 30 minutes to actually see through walls and shoot them down automatically (I rushed out for a smoke to escape).
Well, there is no satisfaction in cheating, only fun is to configure stupid things you're not going to use anyways. Who cheats in multiplayer games just tries to ruin the fun for others or to feel better in destroying other people's egos (how ever that is supposed to work with such easy to see cheats ...).

Ah yes, PERMBAN THEM!! (but since we are nice people give them a second chance first)

Personally, I only cheat in singleplayer, depending on the game type I do so in various ways. I.e. when I play a car driving simulation for a few years, I just get this urge to go faster than the fastest car in the game, so I go hacking, or just get a "trainer"... If it's an rpg like The Elder Scrolls, I used the console very often, although I can't do so any longer as I'm a Linux user now, and Wine simply refuses to recognize tilde key, so this morning, for example, I used pliers to hold down a spell-casting button for half an hour until I got the skill to max.

So sometimes I use cheats as a shortcut, but not to make the game unfair, just to save some time when it really doesn't change the gameplay much in the end.

I never used cheats in Multiplayergames. No fun for me, the others and just stupid.
And im not a nice person. SO PERMBAN them all

I just cheat in Singleplayer fun games. Like Postal 2 or GTA after i finshed them. Just to have a look at the so known fun cheats. Like the Cat Rain on Postal 2

i think many of the cheaters is new to Urban terror, and when they get owned by old timers over and over again, they just think they cheat, many of them don't realize how old this game really is.

In frustration they google for cheats and have their revenge...

Or they are stat whores so they want to have uber stats with bad gameplay, cheats and camping. They don't realize that that way there is no fun, no skill, no life.
