when the server was new, i didnt have any idea bout the b3 and teamdamage was simply off. i was a noob to urt to, coming from q3.
there was never teams, just ffa with bfg (hacked-meat-with-ketchup-party)
after activating teamdamage in urt, suffering began.
its allways the same: someone hurt another one by accident, then madness start.
i think we got b3 cause of that issue.
the nice thing in b3 is that the machine remeber team kills and raise punishment (just like every good mother would do)
so were satisfied with that mother, theres a discussion bout lower the punishment.
b3 has great advantages to handle bans and print it out on website, since its backend is an sql database. look
hererecently i heard bout another nice idea.
im relative sure its not possible with urt atm, someone said its a feature in warsow.
old q3 beryllium mod had that feature:
reflecting teamdamage. so u just kill urself when u shoot a teammate.
im sure theres some players that wouldnt like such setting since its part of the skill, not to hurt ur teammates.
