Is it maybe possible to create a new group for people who are known to the admins so that they can do more teamdamage befor getting kicked? It's really bad to see that people like FDS get banned for a whole day because of to many warnings, although they havent done anything on purpose.

Technically it's possible but quite annoying to maintain : we should discuss between admins about how much we trust people before giving them the new status for LOTS of people... unless players are automatically put in the group according to their kills amount (or teamkills/kills ratio ?) : people who have more than 20k kills are trustworthy for example
Of course the best "solution" is to play with people who do forgive I noticed that more people are forgiving since we changed the welcome message to "use !fp"...

people with >20k frags can still be asses and deserve autokickbans...

best is, if you want to be sure, to start the thing with an extra trusted "powerplayers" group.

I looked through the list of 20+ frags killers at the right, ok the *may* be asses (speaking about gameplay) but I don't think they attack teammates on purpose, at least I hope =)

Ok, people who have more than 20k kills, cry and spam a lot about TK kicks could be candidates to this group, of course if wurst and other admins agree

they do not give a shit about watching their fire and get kicked. which is absolutely what should happen.

automated tempbans are not just for tk'ers on purpose, but also for educating ego-players.

I'd rather say registered users with 20k+ kills. Not all. ZiggyStardust should get in that group.

I guess i wrote this before, but I still like the feature of CoD4 where you can set that teamdamge is reflected.

I have no idea if such an option can be implemented but wouldn't that stop the discussion about kicks and bans and teamkilling itself?
