you need modelling software for that IIRC. basically the same process like if you want to create a... model.

just depends if the software is available for linux.

Wings is great, and allows exporting to .3ds, wrml, .x, ...

No matter how many times I tried, no matter how many tutorials I tried, I just can't do anything at all in blender. I never ever even once successfully opened/imported a single file into blender, and I have all blender-related packaged from the repo installed.

Wings on the contrary, I could use properly since the first time I opened it.

I guess I'm just anti-talented for blender, as supposedly many people use it daily for all their 3d modeling needs.

It was wierd that 14kb file was importing cca 3 minutes, with 2 proc @ 2900 mhz.

Perhaps that was why I always failed to load torcs' tracks (>100MB .acc files).

@Svarox: you mean like what I made in Wings? If so, see attachment, I spent about half an hour on this one when I realized I was too lazy to make wheels.
