ye its an issue to get uset to a laser mouse. but its worth doing it...

I think it more skill, and gives me more challenge, to own you with my mouse. Its optical USB mouse, two buttons and wheel, no drivers, its of HP, but model is unknown. If i get better mouse, same will happen like with keyboard, i can't play on normal keyboard anymore, it must be g11, i could play on g15 maybe.

So better my hardware is, weaker i play on normal hardware.

If i would buy new mouse, it would be g5.

when i remember my first days in q3, i was proud owner of a K7 700 SlotA.
My Graphics card hat 16MB SD.
The connection was ISDN, so i had a real Full Duplex connection what brought me average 160 ping.
Dont ask me for the mouse, it simply wasnt important. To play at all with a mouse meant having an advantage in front of that dreamcast players

The connection wasn't the issue for me, nor was the mouse. I had a P3 650 MHz with 8 MB on board graphics chip and a whopping 64 MB of RAM. Either my graphics card was too slow and the game was having frame drops like hell, or my Windows ME crashed the hell out of the system

But then again, IMHO Heretic, Wolfenstein, Doom I and , etc. were easier to play (or more precisely, to turn around) using keyboard than using mouse.

Indeed! Well, at that time I always used to upgrade right away and, if properly maintained, Windows ME is as stable as 98 SE, with a few advantages regarding Plug'n'play, USB devices support etc.
After all it's but a (not so) well polished 98 SE with a few extra features.
I never liked it much though and quickly upgraded to XP once it became available. It sucked hard though as well. XP only became the solid system it is today after SP1 and SP2 (SP1 sucked hard at quite a bunch of things as well, Java for example).

je thats a known issue, nobody knows why its there.
it came some weeks ago, ill start to exchange file by file some next days...
