compare knifeonly to playing ut4_granja:
at first it was GREAT fun, but very soon it became deeply hated after shortly being just ultra annoying.
(except by some individuals that are still voting for it...)

OFFTOPIC ON SPAS:
i always suck with spas... only rarely i go above like 1.2 / 1.3 ratio.
playing it is like gambling. the distance you need to play seriously with it can usually only be achieved by ambushing others around corners... you ALWAYS need two shots for an enemy with full health, and if one shot is 80dmg (=max) and the other one is below 20dmg... go figure: person doesnt die and you get the headshot.
my spas hits average out on about 30 percent. hitting above 50 percent is russian roulette.
this average damage plus the need for single clicks and the low rate of fire (relatively, you can shoot it faster than the sound implies) means i need between 3 and 7 spas hits to kill in close combat against a freshly spawned. with only 6 bullets loaded, lol.
better get an ump/mp5... luck a headshot and its over, automatic fire makes life way easier.
if you go against an enemy that is damaged already, all stands the same...

spas, as is, is fucked. really the only reason to play it is that it's great fun.

And still you have far most kills with spas So you have with both pistols....

me too, you can rush like a moron on it, but camp like one too. Can't say that about much maps in my opinion. Mostly, it's either camping or rushing. Only thing that comes close is Algiers

I like granja for the same reasons. You can even slice on it... my record is 24 knife kills (ask San, he spected me when I made some enemy spawn slicing assault =)

You mean, only display bigtexts after 30 knife kills ? Hm 30 is crazy, only dmmh, jack or slicey can go that far It's right that when 5-6 players slice it's kind of bigtext flooding... In fact the messages are displayed every 5 knife frags but I chose this number arbitrarily and it can be easily modified in the config file (as well as messages itselves =)
