I looked how some jump servers can register the time of players. This feature also depends of map, because it isn't supported by all maps.
I've checked it on dswp jump server but it didn't works
. Maybe the map doesn't support the timer, or the feature isn't implemented on the server.
The following commands can be used when timer works:
/ready: puts player status as RDY. When player starts one jump path, status changes to RUN and timer starts counting.
!record: shows your personal map record.
!maprecord: shows the player who did the best time of the map.
I've 2 demo records, 1st record is [dswp] JUMP server and timer doesn't work and 2nd record is other server with timer working.
The maps of the records are a bit different, ut4_bstjumps_b4 and ut42_bstjumps_u2. Anyway !record and !maprecord commands don´t work on dswp server.
I think it is a interesting feature
---------update----------
There are some new versions of maps whose name starts with ut42_ instead of ut4_. For example, bstjumps and jupiter have new version, i think the timer works with new versions of maps
