If u want u can ping teh whole list, sure u find someone closer.
Check it with nslookup
Latency is about Hops and Bottlenecks and PacketLenghts and such.
When compared to a street: Ping is the length and Bandwith is the width.
When compared to a dick: Bandwith is the meat and Ping might be teh pressure.
Im not the qualified philopher to answer this truely.
Theres anyways 11 ping to dswp, 5 are between cable modem and next hop.
from then 5ms later it leaves the provider IN frankfurt. they have backbone.
Im having dsl and cable, cable delivers the far better and stable ping.
DSL is average 22, at least it was like that last 2 years.
It could wank from 14 to 400, fail some days and such.
