Teamdamage doesn't go away over time. Every new map half teamdamage is reduced. So if you killed 2 mates in map A, you got 2 warning and 400 damage. On map B you'll have 2 warnings and 200 teamdamage points. If you kill person now you get another warning and 200 points. Next tk in same map you'll have 4 warnings and 600 damage, which is kick (ban). Every warning lasts one hour.
To get kicked/banned you need 4 warnings (4th one kicks) or 600 damage.

If you're forgiven, warning and damage from that player are removed.
If you're cleared, all damage and warnings are removed.

Ah. It seems I remember bits and pieces from the web searches from the previous few weeks. 300 seconds does indeed exist in the documentation, but in an entirely different context. Have to be more careful with writing about things I think I know about… (Coolest smiley ever, by the way.)

Based on AimMe's post, it seems to me things already are pretty much the way thor asked for. Anyway, what is the longest autoban with DSWP configuration? Even for intentional teamkillers, I can't remember anything over two minutes, which really is very short.

I think after some time of cautious playing our tk machine is rather fair, it is not friendly to new players trying to rock with nades, but then again no one would be fair to them since they happen to tk a lot.
The removal of points from deadnades (well not counting them) was suggested as well, whilst I first was all for it now I think it's better the way we have it, people should learn that it's a dumb idea to cock a nade when running into a place crowded by your mates.

Yeah, first time you get 2 minutes, but more times you're kicked in less time bans are bigger. So you'll get 2 minutes, then 4 minutes, then 8 minutes up to 8 hours you mentioned. As warning stays after ban, (2 minutes ban 10 minutes warning) if you happen do make only one kill you got ban again...

Durations for warnings are not static, we could (re)discuss about them. When I play without rights I sometimes think B3 is quick to kick me out =)
