hm, could it be that the rest of the world dont need some extra- artificial singer?
think of it - artificial ones are much better from music business point of view. they dont do drugs/alcohol to damage themselves and corporate profits, all intellectual property rights owned by the corporation, they wont get old, they cant break the contract with the corporation and go rogue/independent, you can make whatever singer for any genre and market niche, you wont have to pay them ANY money and so on. its even kinda strange sony music and their friends havent done this already on a large scale, but i guess they will soon. you only need some 3d artists, some musicians - and you ready to make huge profits.
i guess you'd say here real human musician/singer is better than computer crap, but in reality if its shiney enough most people wont care a bit.
