@graf earthquake:
packets from vmware virtual interfaces have issue with some physical NICs "hardware TCP checksum offloading".
"ethtool -K eth0 tx off && ethtool -K eth0 rx off && ethtool -k" removes that issues.
It pass TCP checksum offloading work to the Host System.

This makes btw teh famous "Realtek 8139 chip" un-usable with Vmware (since this adapter dont support deactivation of that feature).
I just mention it since the half of this planets NICs contain that crappy chip...
