is there anyway you could pass me the linux binary for the 64 slots? would be much appreciated, just switched from winblowz to a nix server.

I dont have access to that so you'll have to wait for some of the admins that handle that :)

by the way: wurst is a windows server administrator and he gets off on anything Microsoft, so the gameservers are running on Windows as well :D

Unclefragger has probably this binary. If you know how compile, you can get its source code here : http://git.dswp.de/viewgit/?a=summary&p=ioUrbanTerror.
If I may, what kind of server do you want to run with that many slots ? =)

okay, thanks. I was running it with winblows on 40 slots for awhile, converted to linux and couldnt find the binaries. Its a TDM server. www.okgam3r.com

hey guys, well i got it working and from what I can see linux handles it ALOT better. When running on windows 2008 server, I could not keep sv_minRate above 12000 and had to have maxrate set at 13000 or everyone would get red bars. When i moved to linux I am now able to force 25000 with no side affects. I have been running 64 players with little to no lag at all. Come check it out, we managed to nab number one server spot in 2 weeks. GG and thanks!

That's interesting info, thanks for sharing. What version do you use, 32 or 64 bits ? Actually I was on your server one week ago, I was lagging a lot but my computer is 6 years old =)
Question: I noticed that the bot talked to me in french, do you use the B3 translators plugin to translate advertising or xlrstats messages ? Or was I dreaming ? =)

Im running 32bit on CentOS. I have a few french members, I had one of them write me a line of french to stick in there. I do have the translator installed, autotrans works decent but for the life of me i cannot get the !trans countrycode to work :D. But I did also do tests with 32 and 64bit and it seems 64bit tends to consume alot more CPU then 32. With 64 players, server is taking 70 percent of a quad core on 32bit, 64 bit was 70 percent with just 45-50 players.

Oh and also, it does lag on smaller maps with 64. ut4_intermodal_beta has turned into a godsend for 64 players and eagle does almost equally as well.
