Hey.

I used Linux Mint 9 since july.
Why? Because Win 7 destroyed itself. I'll tell how.
"Compress your documents for take less bytes." I did that. I didn't say:"Compress boot files." Was downloaded windows, I didn't have it on any dvds.... my bad.

So, this works fine. BUT, I have ATI gfxcard and there is no closed drivers for it.

there is proprietary drivers for ati/amd cards, but they still suck compared to nvidia drivers :S

actually those ati drivers not that bad.
people manage to run eve online - a quite heavy fx game - on linux+ati, despite the lack of linux support and the explicit warning from the devs that it wont run on ati hardware. so i guess its not that bad.
