So cause the mapcycle is a little bit "fucked up" at the moment i started to play some custom maps. ut_4 railed, ut4_jerez and ut4_sliema (dont know if this one is a custom map). And of course i think we need some more custom maps in our mapcycle. So here a little review.

ut4_sliema: seems to be real funny on a full TDM server and is also fun with a low amount of players. And of course you can nearly climb on every roof form every position it isent such a campy gameplay i was afraid of.
So i would really like to see this map in the mapcycle machine.

ut4_railed: Of course its a big mapdownload but i played it today and some days ago. The server is full again after 1 or 2 minuts and its real fun to play it on a full server. With a lower amount of players its a little bit boring and ends in spawnkilling but with 30+ players. Total Fun for me. Would like to add this one to the mapcycle too.

ut4_jerez: Im not sure about this map. It looks like a cool map but its even to big for a full server. The ways you can go are strange and the maps ends in real campy game play. So not my favorite but i would like to give that map a chance.

Well sometimes I set maps like Kingpin, Orbital or Metropolis... never played Jerez but I agree with you about the other maps.

I think i suggested you guys Jerez a while ago. Personally i love the map. It's big and there's a lot of passages that allow flanking.

Here's one more map i tried recently it's called Commune. Medium sized map, i think it's around same size as Algiers, but it's well build and FPS holds very nice on it.

I believe were running Metropolis map on our Amsterdam server, but i don't like it too much, FPS drops very low.

Sliema is huge, but the FPS on that map is awful.Climbing on top of every building is very nice, but it's a campy map. People just sit on windows and shoot. Unless Humpa is going for 20k kicks/bans/warnings

Actually i like sliema and metropolis a lot. Jerez is so-so. Orbital is nice map too. So f1 for them

So i will do the work in the next few days, testing some custom maps wich are allready on the server and testing some new maps and will give you review for all maps so we can start a poll and may ad them to the mapcycle vote or the new ones to the server for testing.

ut_4 railed is really a good map. was fun to play yesterday.

ut4_jerez isn't my thing. strange ways and the big yard with these big doors is too good for campers.

great fun slicing on railed! Hard to make speed there, but it can be done going in the tunnels and scaring the shit out of those lousy SR8 campeurs
