I am delving into making electronic music.
Trust me, it's fuckin hard to understand....

sofar I am using Logic Studio Pro 9, Native Instruments Kontakt 4, Native Instruments Battery 3, Native Instruments FM8, Native Instruments Absynth 5. Anybody got some more good tips for good software synths/ drumcomputer plugins?

Hmm hmmm.. i only know FL Studio but it isn't free.. (only demo is free)

Unlike FL, LMMS is free. Although it's called Linux MultiMedia Studio it works on Windoze and Mac OS X as well.

It's functionality is somewhat close to that of Reason, from my experience, although it's not THAT simple to use.

All you need is Reason!

I don't like FL personaly with all its VST's.

nice, but reason is NOT all you need, there's a distinct difference between just using Reason and using VSTi plugin's as seperate synths, drum computers etc

listen to the insanine quality difference when you listen to say Morphesta's Sample Logic

Reason is nice for making quick tunes I guess, but when it comes to making your own sounds, you can't beat using a DAW and plugins

electronic music is btw an enrichment for music itself, everyone can have more then an orchestra.
i know propellerhead reason from my old flat mate some years ago.
what i didnt like in that program was the user interface (that tried to like something from metal)
