ofc i am just curious.

how long did it take you to get all these characters?

Agh... Tough question. Also, I bought the US version of the game and played it for a month (had lvl 38 Warlock there...), when I bought the EU version my first character was... yet another Warlock that I played for ummm 2 years I believe (I 'gave' the warlock, which was at the time lvl 70, to my brother by migrating it to his account). But the total time I've invested to this game should be around ... bit over 4 years I think :/

And ye, about the friends on Xfire, I AM part of a multinational gaming community (that at least USED to be very active...) you know :D and I propably don't even have all the members added  And unfortunately the Xfire doesnt have all the hours Ive played clocked in...

Also, impressive is not the first thing that comes into my mind at least :)

so you just said it took you two years to have a lvl 40 and a lvl 70 char, and now in another 2 years you have like 6 lvl 80 and 1 lvl 40?

that is not impressive but something else, for whatever it is worth.
i'd rather not say "invested".

you can never ever get interest or anything else being worthwile out of computer games.

It's not that black and white. First of all, the level cap is rised by 10 every expansion so I had 2 lvl 60's during the 'vanilla' WoW (and the US warlock that I no longer played). During the first expansion I leveled 2 other alts to 70 and gave the Warlock to my brother. Also worth noting that somewhere near the end of the expansion, the experience required to level up was decreased by 30% which was basically the main reason why I leveled up my other alt to level 70. During the current expansion the the required experience to level up was furthermore decreased by 20%, and also 'heirloom' items that are superior items which stats depend on the players level were added to the game... Also grouping up with other players will increase the experience gain but Im not quite sure how much... Anyway, the level grind that used to take close to a month now takes about 1½weeks if you powerlevel.

So ye, whatever. I play when I have nothing better to do and as long as I'm entertained by it, I will propably keep doing it. You're propably right about not getting anything from gaming, unless you win tournaments or get sponsored. WoW accounts can also be sold but considering the money invested to even buy the game, and time consumed to level a character to a point when someone will actually buy it is not worth mentioning. Only PC game that you can 'realistically' make money is propably online poker thus making it 'worthwhile'... I guess "The exception proves the rule".

oh by the way deviant: I had to installl a fuckin extension for chrome to block your damn 7.6 mb!!!! gif in your signature.
It's just not normal and inproper behaviour if you ask me. FUckin 7.6 mb, resize that bloody gif already.
If I was a admin of this forum, I would block it for the entire site because I can't even scroll normally through the pages you post on, but sadly I am not.
Hell, I'd block it just because it stinks, but even more so because it's way to fuckin big
