hm what to say?
latencies are allways there, i tryed to put mine server the best connected and most central possible.
central means in germany to have it at frankfurt/de-cix global exchange, "best connected" means idle ethernet (i have less then 1% bandwith use, maximum ~3500 connections)
mine housing center has many gameserver providers hosted. they care a lot for low pings. theres a constantly growing number of interconnects with german providers, specially the lama telekom is directly and multiple connected. thats why im happy here 2 jears now.

central position on a globe is very difficult thing btw. to be correct it would mean to put it in the lava.
omg!!!

Bigmat's ISP is Free and he connects from Paris.
Free is a good provider in France because you can disable interleave parameter at dslam level, which lower your ping (for example my ping was ~35 ms with interleave and can now reach 6 ms on some servers). But you have to check that you are in a "zone dégroupée" (i.e. an area where Free can use his own phone lines - http://www.free.fr/adsl/pages/accueil/c ... upage.html), and not so far from the dslam (not too high attenuation) to benefit from it.

150 ping... back to 56k :)

hmhm.

1. open the google
2. enter http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=fastpath+t-online
3. klick on first link, (or here) logon with customer data (t-online nummer persönliches kennwort, mitbenutzernummer etcpp)
4. wait, wait, hope, pray.

theres a free call center number that u can call for that, dunno plz not ask for google that.
fastpath effect is allways dependent to ur distance to dslAM (and sure the cable and electro-magnetical surrounding)
what it does is in fact shuffle the packets in the connection.
if flash and thunderstorm destroy then some transmitted packets, its more easy for faillure correction mechanism.

this fact has btw consequences on how u should clean cds (vs. analouge lp)
no joke :)

Yeh, the community is still very active and there should be a new release soon. Will have to check it out, haven't played sauer for months. :)

Wichtiger Hinweis:

Komisch? egal...
--> Bandbreite: 100 GB in 10 Sek = 10 GB/Sec. Das entspräche 80 Gigabit/sec, also DSL acht Millionen (kbit/sec).

Schreibs lieber direkt an T-Offline :P
