hmm i have an older harddrive with 20 GB, there i store important things in duplication.
jsfilesync copys all office and text like shits plus images
every some times i make backup on cd (yes, it still fits everything there)

for the data from camera or media i have different strategy.
camera files go to dvd after stick is full.
a copy of the media files is at some friends that share my music taste. that way they have some profit from that, i dont need pervert large drives and i have a reason to see my mates from real life...

i think backup is no difficult thing when u devide the filetypes a bit and look for priorities.
mine brand new paris hilton video wont disappear from the planet, i can find it again. most movies are anyways not made to be watched more then 1 time. with my bills its different. but here the size is much less, what a luckyness
