I just checked "Top 50 Skill" list, and I got quite a shock: me being #1
So I would like to ask - how is skill evaluated? How is possible my skill is higher than of those players who have better ratio and less teamkills?
I'm pretty sure I would find it somewhere on this server explained... but I was too lazy to search properly... writing new post is much easier
And also I would like this post to be a introduction of myself - so here am I, Dooku (you may call me Count ... but please do not leave out the 'o' ... ). You probably saw me few times here on wurst server already...

XLRStats take skill from killing player and dieing (who would say). Now here are some extremes:
When you kill high ranked player with hard weapon you get lot of points.
When you kill high ranked player with easy weapon you get few points.
When you die from high ranked player with hard weapon you lose few points.
When you die from high ranked player with easy weapon you lose even less points.

When you kill low ranked player with hard weapon you get few of points.
When you kill low ranked player with easy weapon you get even less points.
When you die from low ranked player with hard weapon you lose lot points.
When you die from low ranked player with easy weapon you lose some points.

Lets say you as #1 are high ranked and knife is hard weapon. If i slice you i would get cca. 6-7 points. If you would kill me #77 with same knife i would lose 2-3 points.
Now if noob at #1000 sliced you, he would get cca 15 points, you would lose that much.
Easy weapon is g36. It gives little points.

EDIT: you have nice spas and baretta ratio, it bet that helps.

just one thing:
maybe you have had good skill before server change and you didn't play since that much often
that would explain a lot, cause since then the skill points dropped...

In fact Xlrstats plugin uses the same system as Elo rating in chess (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system). It's based on logistic function, look at the graph here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logistic_function. As AimMe wrote, if you have a low skill and kill a high skill, you will gain lots of skills points.

Weapon points multipliers are important too : for example if you kill someone with the knife, points are doubled, if you kill someone by throwing the knife points are * 3 (!). However, the factor is 0.5 when you kill with a HE, and 0.75 (only ?) when you kill with the Spas :p
Use !kntest <someone> to know how many points you will get by killing someone.
If you make some huge killing streaks in a row, you will get lots of skills points, even if your ratio is still low...

Thanks for welcome and for answers The xlrstats engine seems to be much more sophisticated then I thought.
I don't even plan on playing for stats - I was just curious... the reason I'm here is because this server has great community. I already got banned on some servers for "hax" (obviously they couldn't take mah great skillz) ... just kidding. Let's have many happy hours with the UrT

Isn't this for knife kills only?
BTW: thrown knife is hard :s

Yes but I put the detail, like 2 * (skills point gained), so you can multiply yourself by weapon factors.

Hello Dooku, I've enjoyed playing along side you, hope to see you play often in the wurst server in Urt.

Hi, i noticed dooku on top a few days ago, so i went to check, and noticed that almost 50% of his kills are with secondary weapons and pistols. Does that necessarely mean he is better than mack0, jacrom, deviant or chinesed ? hum...

EDIT:on the other hand maybe knifing is a bit undervalued because even smeagol who has knrec on most maps and is basically a god of knifing doest appear on top 50 of skill...

smeagol doesnt play every day and every round knives only
