hi there, i`ve got a question, the last days i played on the tdm server, were a bit boring sometimes. because in a time range about 2 or 3 hours, everytime the same maps were played, even if there was no mod or admin playing, changing to a different map. the maps was crossing,turnpike,abbey,dust2,train,casa,kingdom and anothere one more, this cycle is coming coming ever and ever again, like a scene from : *und täglich grüßt das murmeltier* (engl.: Groundhog Day). was the cycle minimalized? or is that only a thing like wrong place at wrong time?
i miss subterra, abbey ctf, granja, subways, eagle, mandolin, ryadh, toxic.
i know the difficulty, because if a map is set by an admin/mod (vote), the cycle starts at the beginning everytime.
maybe in the future, u dont put a special map as next one, but you do a (quicker) cycle if its possible.
or is it possible, not to restart the mapcycle after setting a special map, so that the started cycle could goes on ?

ty for reading and helping maybe :)

Cycles are being voted in the forum. Too long cycle=the map with most votes rarely appears.

Map cycle votes occur every week at Friday.

The rest of the stuff you mentioned is a lot of work I think.

Edit: Also, the maps that were voted for are separated into small, medium and big maps. Depending on how many people play at a given moment, different mapcycles are applied.

OK, let me say few things.

1) When admin changes map with !map <name> it changes to that map map continues mapcycle (First map is Ramelle. We just played uptown, next map was casa, but i changed map to sliema. We'll play sliema, and then casa). That was fixed some time ago.
2) We have 3 cycles: big, medium and small. So, we have _like_ 25 maps, but 10 in small (maps like swim, dressing room) 10 in medium (normal) and 5 in big (that would be big maps, like subway, kingdom, suburbs). Now, you probably played medium mapcycle so maps were medium. And, AFAIK you can vote nextmap, unless admin turned it off.
3) You shouldn't play so long :) It's bad for ur health.

AFAIK voting doesn't work ATM.

And 4) Soon I'll have holidays so there will be one hyperactive admin, at least i hope.
