Woah, either I missed something or you really think that's python :D
It's just simple XML containing regexps. Aside of that I would just disable it as well. We got admins on the server most of the time, so if people really start insulting each other, we will just kick both of em if they don't start behaving themselves again.

hm je thats true.
maybe lets reduce it to a core of words thats rly unwated.
examples?
hitler, jew, everything what belongs to that
mother, fuck, etc - in combinytion with "u", you your etc

another idea is to de-penalize it.
so just give console message "plz dont swearing" and log it to the echelon for reviewing

In Perl you'd have to comment the Dollar Sign out, but else it's the same, not?

not exactly
for example:
<regexp>sf[a@]gs</regexp>
I have no idea what the @ is supposed to mean, could be like + in perl (one or more times)

also I think that the other place holders vary. Not to forget that the regex isn't embedded in two times s, just / or m/ in the beginning. I have this page I love for perl regex if anyone wants it I'll post it (only always open on my other comp)

Well, that @ is for people who write an '@' instead of an 'a'. It's in square brackets, a plus there would make no sense. ;)

That makes only match whole words, not the char sequence inside a longer string. Could have used b, but s seems to also work.

You need to add these bad words to the list:

Cona;
Cu - In spanish is "culo";
Paneleiro;
Cabrão - I think Urban´s chat can´t write with the tilde, so, i only can write as cabrao. In spanish is "cabrón";
Merda - In spanish is "mierda";
Foder - In spanish is "joder" i think.

Also there are some bad words in portuguese that are included as spanish in your list like "caralho" (in spanish is "carajo" i think), "puta" and "cabra" are the same in the two languages. :evil:
