After many times fixing the mouse, well finally decided to buy a new one. I prefered to stick to the last model, but it was sold out.

really like the razer deathadder and it has been a trusty servant to me so far (almost 3 years now)
also because i prefer optical mouses towards laser

Yes it is the 3500dpi version.

And yes I prefer also optical mouses... that was one of the reasons to choose this one.

I have no issues with my 3200pdi laser rat (Cyborg R.A.T.3).

P.S.: I saw a SteelSeries mouse pad, just make sure not to buy a Kinzu mouse from them (it has a bug in it's firmware >_>).

I find this idea not completely non-sensical.
I do have sweaty mouse fingers sometimes,
and maybe that thing is strong enough to
help.

But then again, I've now got a large desk fan,
that should do.
