on the bright side, eu parliament passed anti-ACTA declaration in a sudden burst of common sense few weeks ago.

also they made a proposition to the eu governments to go open source earlier, cant find the relevant link now tho.

My advice is to ignore the existence of all and any non-free intellectual properties there are, and stick to free stuff. That way they will all bankrupt eventually with no market left.

im afraid ignoring something wont make it disappear just like that :(
those are huge companies we talking about, lots of money, can corrupt anyone needed (to make your government use windows for the next 50 years guaranteed for example).
