well i noticed that "!w *name* camp" doesnt produce much action...people mostly ignore it. but if you "!slap *name*" then he starts moving. the only problem is that if you start slapping people then you cannot play normally because you have to concentrate on the slapping and eventually you go spec to skim thru both teams. you spec each player for a few seconds to see if he is worth speccing some more or you move on another one. therefore admins/mods have problems playing. today humppa was on a rampage again with kicking idiots and for a good reason. so many of them just standing with snipers and waiting. it would be nice if there would be a possibility to "!ws *name* camp" which would warn him and slap him. i know its just merging 2 things together but it might produce some effect.
@rasta: it doesnt matter how many slots you have. there is always some 20-40% campers (map dependant). so if you put oil depot with 20 people or with 40 people it will be more or less same. honestly i do not know which would be worse... less people mean less movement == more boring maps. but if you have more people then you have a bunch of people who cant use snipers for whatever reason and they rush... either way its fucked up. thats why there are admins/mods. i see no problem if (hypothethical example follows) humppa is speccing and dealing with it idiots camping and map changes to something he likes to play. ofc if he asks i will gladly go spec and deal with idiots. yes at some degree its tiresome to actually "work" while you wanna play but then again...we should perhaps feel proud to some extent seeing a person we only know as a wurst has enough confidence in us to maintain order.
you have to understand that when its peak time of the day there are always at least 2 admins/mods ingame to maintain order (often much more) and they deal with it.
i played on a few different servers but when i saw the chaos and anarchy there i stopped going there... no point...
