I too got myself such a nice thing, but it tends to "blow" at my entire right side ending in giving the right side of my ribs and lower back a little cold or muscle-something... well it tends to hurt now and then if the surrounding air is too hot ^^

You don't need it to blow directly at you, if you can't
set the RPM low enough. Just let it blow more to the
left or right of you (up to 90 degrees or even more,
depending on the room). After all, you just need a
little wind to make your sweat evaporate and thus
make you feel comfortable.
