lags on the bomb server

Lags just killed bomb server full of players, what's the reason? Recently it happened few times.

and not only bomb... just all server

it was the gameserver.
my demo recording/file transfer haa a script containing "lsof", this didnt went to sleep and used all ram till swap was full.

--> rebooted, deactivated in cron, demo recording will continue in the evening...

I'm laging terribly only on dswp servers. It has started few weeks ago. Many red lines on lagometer. Few times even autokicked for ci. Anyone have the same problem? I'm about to stop to play here for good...

The Problem was the last 2-3 weeks that we had some trouble with a database running on the same machine that the servers were on.
But this problem has been resolved since a few days - the problem must be somewhere on your side of the connection I assume. As the serverside lags have been (as said) resolved.

ye, that issue is fixed.
in fact we have a virtual machine with a nat router.
one box failed so some vm's had to move, now its back.

sounds funny but a database server is not a real time box as it looks like (:
if its still lagi, the cause is somewhere else, plz re-inform then^^
