ey, wat i was wondering:

in the stats page, the ranks are organized on the amount of kills you made, and not quite on the k/d ratio. wouldnt it be better if the list was made up of k/d ratio, or skill (although i dont really know what the skill does?)
or at least, make it sortable on the different sorts of stats?

also, in the weapons stats i miss the accuracy stat: bullets hit / bullets fired
imo that is also an important stat :)

hmm ratio should be there as well, just scroll down a bit. As for skill ... wurst once took that out to steal cheaters their favorite stat (it was shown first as well), but I think we can put that back in now... Your rank is your position in the skill table.
Accuracy can't be done at b3, it's only reading the log and the log won't show how many shots you missed. You however can log every shot, but 32ppl tdm full 2/3 of the day ... you don't want to imagine how big that log would get after just one day (and every bullet would be logged into sql as well). Maybe if you sent wurst a few terrabyte harddisks ^_^

About skill and ratio, it was before on stats, have no idea why it isn't now. You have skill stats on right, and if you search empty clan, it will be sorted by skill.

Skill goes up when you kill somebody, down when you die. About how much it goes up/down affects how much player who you kill/who kills you is better/worse than you, and with which weapon you/he does it. So you'll get lots of points (maybe 7.5?) if you kill #1 player with knife. If somebody on #10000 kills you with knife, you'll lose that much.

About bullets hit/fired, b3 doesn't get those, so we can't show that stat. Can we? but that would just give big advantage to snipers or g36. Why? Because when you play with sr8, over 75% of bullets hit. When you are playing with mp5, less than 40% of bullets hit. If everybody would play with same weapon it would be good. And one more thing. If I would hit somebody 5 times in leg i would have 5/5, if i would miss him once and hit in head i would have 1/2. Which is better?

thema skill/ratio in stats: its a cheatermagnet.
since were able to devide usergroups and else factors, maybe we get it back for "relaxed people" or some like that :)

what belongs to the bodyparts:
server dont log them, so B3 dont get them.
it would be 90% of our data, we would be able to run maybe 2-3 months till we need a bigger db server...
if someone want to buy us this:

Now you've done it, Wurst!

Now I want such a motherboard in my laptop XD. It would nearly satisfy my need for ram and CPU power...

Edit: when I take a closer look at it, it has awful amount of capacitors.../edit.

And sorry for going a bit offtopic, I just couldn't resist it...

I think stats are just fine the way they are. The more the stats the better (NUMBERS!!! :x ) but there's no need to rush. Imho, if one wants to see whether they're better then someone the best way to find out would be to just play with them and see what actually happens.

Anyway who cares about stats. It's just important to have fun. Playing for stats ruin all the fun, and whole game. I personally like 1 funny kill much more that 100 "normal" LR300 kills. Or even 1 funny death. I think stats are just to see who is very good, and who plays a lot. I like those "drop dead" and other "rewards".

ah je, the stats for tdm server include now the "skill" too.
in charge for that the skill-sorted table at the right side was take away.

hope u like it, hope it wond harm the gameplay

Think this would fit here. Just two bug reports:

1. for the kills:
1 RastaSkud 88427 68669 1.29 1607.0 4670 29 27

Same thing like Jack. Only reverse. At tdm stats knirps doesn't exist, but at "top of the pops" he's still first, better than rasta.
So knirps disappeared?

2. Blinky already did things like this. At maps, total kills was expanded from int(5) and numbers are ok. But for teamkills and suicides it stayed at int(5) (i think) and is at 65535. That won't be hard to fix.

xlrstats has a way of dealing with inactive/banned people, wursts query doesn't include a time limit, he wasn't on the server for quite some time so xlrstats marked him as inactive.
