Satrtin local server with Hamachi

Hey there,
at first I am still alive.

Now the topic:
as it says I want to start a local server with Hamachi, just to play with my friends sometimes. I created a Hamachi network and the guys who wanna play joined it, everything okay. Now I did everything I should do to start a server (after a lil bit searching for tutorials or stuff like that). I am running the dedicated server console and the "normal" server console to start a server. I can connect with the IP and waiting for players, but if my friends do it, they cannot see the server at source: local and cannot connect with the IP neither.

So my question is, what should I do now? Is there anything with the Hamachi network, should I do something with the IP of it?!

I hope u can help me (I think so, here r some nerdz who could know that ) but I don't know that much of starting and running a server btw..

is the ping working between all of you thru hamachi?

are you using windows and is the server ip open in the stupid windows fw?

explain more please. you need the dedicated server thing to start the server and normal client to connect to it, is that what you mean?

We are playing sometimes Minecraft at our own server with Hamachi too, so I think the IP must be open. And ye.. atm I am using Windows.

Hmm if you're running it on Windows, you need to put rise Hamachi over your normal local network @ network connection's advanced tab.
