Maybe one day we should try to break the record, I don't know if it would be possible to get more than 64 people online though.

I once tried raising the limit to 128, but iirc the server didnt even start up after that
even 96 didnt work

Did you modify it ? Because in the source there is a hardcoded limit somewhere else (like a #define MAX_PLAYERS 64 or something). So maybe it's possible...

ye sure, i looked around in the relevant files, compiled it and then server didnt start up
