People not !fp-ing

Postby ejlflop » 12.30.09

It's annoying when people don't !fp you when it's clearly an accident. I think perhaps people don't notice that they were tk'd. Perhaps some !bigtext should flash up on their screen saying "You were tk'd by xxxxx, !fp to forgive".

Grrrr it annoys me.

Yes we are aware of this problem, we just dream of players typing !fp by themselves :)
We can't bigtext because anyone would get the message, however I think we could display a message with highlighted '!fp' to people who get TKed.

How about auto-forgive, unless they do !grudge or !condemn :D
Persistant tk'ers would be noticed by mods anyway.

I thought the same, but wasn't sure 'bout posting it xD

Some !cunt flag, yes, players who kill on purpose will get kicked fats, maybe the flag stays for 1 hour.
Players who seem to be 'overheated' or just don't care about theire teammates can have a 'yellow card', one more tk during 1 hour (or a special amount of team-dmg) and you get a break.

hmmmm.

I'm sure some others had that idea, right? Where is the crux?

Then replace the forgive system with a punish system. If there is a tker he can be flaged by the guy who was shot down with a !punish command or something.
And a bit smoother B3 auto-punishment. If someone kill many reammates in a short time, then it should be a clear thing...

Lol, stupid machine not having human-level of sentience :D

I second eXeler0n's proposal of a !punish system, with possible auto-detecting of multiple tk's in quick succession.

Although perhaps the current system is the best we can hope for :-/

I agree with SKratch about yellow cards/flags attached with the players for a considerable period of time. If they tk or damage in that period they automatically get slapped, kicked unless !wc...
