@wurst: what do you mean? ofc most of "these kids" won't open their own pod, but i guess most off them do know someone who they trust about their computer issues. these few may be able (and some of them willing) to host a diaspora pod.

well, there is ofc the issue with fb etc. integration. many ppl will post their stuff from diaspora to fb, without beeing aware of putting the content under fb mayority again....

or was it something else you had in mind?

good question.

first of all i just wanted to advertise for D* in the forums, for all the users who are still using FB, because i think it's worth it.
didn't think about a DSWP pod until you mentioned.

i'll dig into that.
idk if "real" integration is possible, but there are (or at least will be) features, wich shall ease the usability for organisations and communitys.
since i do not have much knowledge about the technical stuff, i can't promise that i will find possibilitys for forum integration etc. even if they are there...
but i'll do my best

and at this point once more a big THX for Wursti for hosting and maintaining the forums + servers for us for free in his leisure time!!!

edit: my bro is thinking about opening a pod. so i'll just molest him with tech questions if he gets started. but i guess it'll take time until he decides.
