You gonna hate the word unlimited

Hello nice vid about game engine.

My 2 cents:
They are not storing position of each atom separately.. that would do 6 GB with 100 000 000 atoms. So I think they just set position of object and the atoms are set just once relative to center :)
Question would be, if it could work like this on real games where you have almost whole map different.

I think it is possible. If our PC wouldn't run this now, this would surely make hardware companies to try better to run this. No matter how much CPU, GPU or RAM this consumes, it is great step in graphics.

When people designed 80386, they thought 4GB of RAM was beyond reach.

As far as I've understood this (and I've done a bit researching, although Im not giving any guarantees of whether Ive understood the whole system perfectly sooo... don't quote me) the technology works a bit like google (or with similiar algorhytm). And the speed of google is based heavily on the fact that the data is well indexed. However, in this case we're talking about game worlds that presumably are changing (this is why there are only static worlds made with this technology in the videos I've seen at least) which should basically destroy all hopes of running this smoothly. Show me a computer that can calculate moving millions of cloud points @ let's say... 60 times in a second?

This company seems like it's only looking for a quick cash in from some major company who fail to realize that this kind of technology won't have any practical use in many many many years.

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

On a sidenote; the graphics look amazing and as far as I know most of the stuff you see on the video has been made by some programmer and not actualy artist :)

Lol yeah...

The weirdest thing is.:
They actually claim they don't want any money. They've got before a 2 mil $ grant from goverment so they say it's enough and don't accept third party investors. At least they said that in this interview (40 min long):
