Yes. In my opinion Harbourtown is not really as perfect and beautiful as maps like Casa, Kingdom or Turnpike. Ramelle is also a bit "ugly" with strange coloured buildings, but it provides a good gameplay. Harbourtown on the other hand has in fact only three narrow ways on one level to get to the enemy's spawn. That's boring, leads to camping/raping and most likely to an unbalanced game (of course I can only speak for my wursty TDM experience).

there's actually an extra way which is open on the bombversion of the map, maybe we could use that one instead, maybe makes it a bit more interesting.

Erm, no, maps don’t have “versions” (except for AbbeyCTF:-P); there are — I think that’s how it’s done — tagged brushes that disappear in certain game modes. Changing this would require de- and recompiling the map file etc.

Hm, I thougt that are other "maps" for FFA-mode. I only remember that in ut4_swim there are more ways than in TDM. Is that possible??

Maybe you can change the entities while the map is loaded. That way you don't need to decompile and publish a new version but get to keep an unmodified version of the original BSP on the server, the game just gets something else loaded.

Hmmm. Could this be done with a custom server binary? Mind you, I have no clue about those matters… This would be horribly confusing for some of the players though; you can occasionally see people asking “Where’s the flag?” on TDM, now imagine there are actual, honest-to-god bomb spots blinking away:-D
